Ordering your Cards

Bespoke Wedding Service

We offer a complete design service - OR give us an idea and we'll do the design.   All wedding stationery is individually handmade, so slight variations may occur. We can discuss your requirements by email, phone or a visit, if you are local to us (mid Cheshire).

tick Order Quantity - When you have chosen your design we can go ahead with the production of your wedding stationery.   No Minimum Order.  
tick Prices - Prices for wedding stationery include one top quality printed insert in each invitation, menu, thank you, and order of service card.   Inserts are either white or ivory to match the card and printed in black or grey font.  See individual cards for prices.
tick Design - We use a variety of different fonts for the text including Monotype Corvisa, Aucoin Light and Amazone.
tick Quality - We only use good quality cardstock and paper inserts.  Prices include white or cream envelopes.  
tick Samples - If you like what you see, you can order up to three sample invitations by completing our contact form.   Unlike other companies, we do not charge for this service.  There are a couple of designs that we do charge for, and these are noted on the invitations.
tick Despatch - Wedding invitations are normally sent out three months (12 weeks) before the date.   For you to receive your order in plenty of time, please give us at least 8 weeks (that's 20 weeks before your big day) to produce your invitations etc.   Ideally we would like longer, but we know in some cases this is not possible. We have even accepted orders up to four weeks before the wedding date!

Payment - Once you place your order, we ask for a non-refundable booking fee of £50.   Payment can be made by cheque, made payable to P MOLYNEUX, or cash.

If orders are being collected personally, then cash can be given.   Sorry, but at this moment in time we are unable to take credit cards. Payment can be made via PayPal invoice but unfortunately we must add 3.5% extra to allow for pay pal charges, this is to keep our costs down so we can pass the savings onto you.
tick Proofs - Proofs will be sent for your approval free of charge.   It is your responsibility to check your stationery upon receipt and to tell us immediately of any corrections or mistakes.   Refunds can only be given if the material is faulty or your specific order has not been met.
tick Cancellations - Cancellations must be within 28 days from date of order.   After this time any monies will not be returned.

Bespoke Greeting Cards Service

We specialise in designing personalised cards for any occasion, including Retirement, Christmas, Anniversary, Holy Communion, Confirmation and Birthdays.  Names and dates can be added to the cards, and completed in whatever colour you want.

tick Ideas -Give us the idea and let us design a fantastic personal greeting card, maybe you have a favourite holiday or romantic destination or memory from your past, or a pet, in fact anything you particularly like - let us take the strain off you! Have you a photo of a loved one that you would like putting on a card - let us design one especially for you.

tick Prices - 2008 prices are A4 size - £9.50, A5 size - £5.50 and A6 size £3.00, all include insert with verse and envelope.   Please give us a call if you require any different size card.

Unfortunately there comes a time in our lives when we lose a loved one and you are looking for that personal card to say that you cared.  Give us the details and let us sensitively do the rest.

History of Bomboniere (Favours)

The long standing tradition of giving bomboniere to celebrate special occasions such as weddings, was started centuries ago in Italy.

Each traditionally bomboniere contains 5 quality sugared almonds - 5 being a prime number which cannot be divided - just like the bride and groom. The almonds symbolise health, wealth, happiness, fertility and long life.

Nowadays there are many alternatives to almonds, including mint chocolates, mint imperials and chocolate peanuts and raisins to name but a few.

Another alternative is bath pearls or scented soaps for the ladies and miniature bottles in a 'lantern' for the gents.
